Saint Helena Community Band

Formed in 2015, the Community Combo features members from the larger Community Band. Facing logistical limitations of a large group of 40 or more, Kent Gaisford (trumpet) and Anahid Nazarian (saxophone) decided to put together a smaller group, allowing for more opportunities to perform, where a larger group could not.

The group originated as the Saint Helena Community Dixieland Band, playing Dixie favorites, then, with an ever-expanding repertoire evolved to rebrand themselves as the Community Combo, bringing high energy and musical whimsy to any event.

The Combo has played Napa PorchFest, St. Helena's Harvest Festival, the local Italian Fest, Auction Napa Valley, Rianda Rally Car Show, and the grand opening of the Brannan Center.
